ICON Stage 10 Suspension System — Toyota Tacoma (2005–2023)

The ICON Stage 10 suspension system for Toyota Tacoma (2005–2023) is engineered to increase wheel travel, improve damping control, and deliver enhanced on- and off-road ride quality. The system combines vehicle-specific extended-travel front coilovers with remote reservoirs, billet aluminum upper control arms featuring ICON’s Delta Joint, multi-rate RXT rear leaf springs, and 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks for a balanced, tunable suspension package.

  • Vehicle fit: Toyota Tacoma 2005–2023
  • Front suspension: 2.5 Series extended-travel coilovers with remote reservoirs and ICON CDXS (independent high- and low-speed compression adjustability); height adjustable.
  • Front coilover lift range: 0–3.5" for 2005–2015 models; 0–2.75" for 2016–2023 models.
  • Front control arms: Billet aluminum upper control arms with patented Delta Joint for increased strength, corrosion resistance, greaseable design, and improved camber/caster adjustment.
  • Rear suspension: ICON RXT multi-rate leaf springs with user-adjustable spring rates (additional leaf included to increase spring rate 10–20%).
  • Rear shocks: 2.5 Aluminum Series RXT Omega Bypass remote reservoir shocks with side-mounted eyelet, large remote reservoir, multiple damping zones, and compression/rebound adjustability (28 settings).
  • Durable construction: 6061 aircraft-grade CNC machined components, CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8" shafts, and FK rod end bearings where applicable.
  • Adjustability and serviceability: Coilovers are adjustable in height and damping; shocks are fully serviceable.

Specifications

  • Rear lift range: approximately 1.875"–2.625" depending on rear spring configuration and vehicle weight.
  • TRD Pro models (2017–2023): front lift range 0–1.25" and rear lift range 1.375"–2.125" depending on rear spring configuration and vehicle weight.
  • Recommended maximum tire: up to 33 x 11.50 (larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and/or modifications).
  • Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes: 17x8.5 (4.75" backspace), 18x9 (5.00" backspace), 20x9 (5.00" backspace).
  • Coilover height reference: indicated heights are for a stock-equipped vehicle.

Notes

  • These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
  • 700 lb/in expedition coil is available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
  • Shocks are fully serviceable.
  • Installation of the complete ICON system is required to attain advertised wheel travel; use of other manufacturers’ components may prevent advertised travel and could cause unknown damage.
  • 2016–2023 Tacoma lift range is 0–2.75".
  • Trimming required for recommended tire size.
  • Bump stop spacer kit 51045 can be installed to increase preload by 0.25" beyond maximum.
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install.
  • Will not fit 2WD Tacoma with 5-lug studs.
