ICON Vehicle Dynamics

Stage 9 suspension system for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma engineered to increase wheel travel, improve damping, and deliver refined on- and off-road ride quality. This system combines vehicle-specific extended-travel front coilovers with an ICON tubular upper control arm and ICON RXT multi-rate rear leaf springs paired with a unique 2.5 Aluminum Series remote-reservoir rear shock.

• Extended-travel front coilovers: 2.5 Series coilovers with remote reservoirs and CDCV (externally adjustable) for improved cooling and consistent performance under hard use.
• Height adjustable: Front coilover adjustment range 0–3.5" for 2005–2015 models and 0–2.75" for 2016–2023 models to accommodate larger wheel/tire combinations.
• ICON tubular upper control arms (UCAs): Corrected front-end geometry, added caster, improved suspension clearance and increased droop travel when used with extended-travel coilovers.
• Patented Delta Joint: Heavy-duty, high-angle joint combining ball-joint durability with uniball articulation; zinc-plated housing and greaseable design for corrosion resistance and long life.
• RXT multi-rate rear leaf springs: Includes an additional user-exchangeable leaf to yield 3 user-adjustable spring rates and an optional 10–20% change in spring rate for unloaded or heavily loaded use (bed racks, rooftop tents, spares, gear).
• RXT 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks: Remote reservoir design with side-mount eyelet to increase travel while fitting factory mounts; anodized aluminum bodies and 7/8" shafts for corrosion resistance and durability.
• CDC Valves: Externally adjustable compression damping with 10 settings to tune from soft to firm.
• High-quality construction: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, corrosion-resistant coatings, and FK rod-end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection.
• Extended wheel travel: System designed to maximize droop and overall wheel travel when the complete ICON system is installed.

Technical highlights

• Coilover bodies: Corrosion-resistant CAD plating, 7/8" shafts.
• Shocks: Fully serviceable; large remote reservoir for heat dissipation and reduced shock fade.
• Materials: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components, anodized finish on rear shock bodies.

Fitment & wheel/tire

• Vehicle: 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma.
• Recommended max tire: Up to 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but will likely require fender trimming and modifications).
• Recommended wheel offset: 0 mm offset (aftermarket wheels may be required for ideal fitment).

Lift ranges (approximate)

• Front: 0–3.5" (2005–2015 models) or 0–2.75" (2016–2023 models). Specific submodels may have reduced front lift ranges.
• Rear: Typical range 1.875–2.625" over stock depending on rear spring configuration and vehicle load; certain models (e.g., TRD Pro 2017–2023) will show front 0–1.25" and rear 1.375–2.125" depending on configuration and weight.

Notes

• These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
• 700 lb/in expedition coil option is available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Installation of the complete ICON system is required to attain advertised wheel travel; use of other manufacturers' components will not provide the same travel and could cause unknown damage.
• 2016–2023 Tacoma lift range is 0–2.75".
• Trimming required for recommended tire size in some installations.
• Bump stop spacer kit can be installed to increase preload by approximately 0.25" beyond maximum.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models with 5-lug wheel studs.
