ICON Stage 8 Suspension System — 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma

ICON Stage 8 suspension systems are engineered to maximize wheel travel and damping for outstanding vehicle control and ride quality on and off-road. This kit adds rear ICON RXT multi-rate leaf springs and an RXT-specific 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shock to deliver balanced performance for the Toyota Tacoma.

The front of the system features vehicle-tuned 2.5 Series Extended Travel coilover shocks with remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for improved vehicle "feel" throughout the range of travel. Coilovers are height adjustable to accommodate larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations and are used with the included billet aluminum upper control arm to increase droop travel and correct front-end geometry.

The rear package includes ICON RXT multi-rate leaf springs with an additional user-serviceable leaf to adjust spring rate by approximately 10–20%, improving unloaded ride quality or supporting added rear cargo or accessories. Complementing the springs is a 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shock with a side-mounted lower eyelet to increase extension travel while retaining factory mounting locations. A large remote reservoir improves heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade.

The billet aluminum upper control arms use ICON's patented Delta Joint, a heavy-duty high-angle joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the articulation of a uniball. Corrosion-resistant finishes, grease seals, metal-on-metal construction and a greaseable design increase longevity while providing quiet operation and improved on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment.

• OEM wheels and tires fitment: yes.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes: 17x8.5, 18x9, 20x9 (verify backspacing and offset for your application).
• Recommended tire: up to 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but will likely require fender trimming or other modifications).
• These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
• A 700 lb/in expedition-rate coil is available for heavier equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover height specifications are based on a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Installation of the complete ICON system is required to achieve the advertised wheel travel; mixing components from other manufacturers may prevent achieving advertised travel and could cause damage.
• 2016–2023 Tacoma front lift range is approximately 0–2.75".
• Most Tacoma submodels will have a rear lift height range of approximately 1.875–2.625" over stock, depending on rear spring configuration and rear weight.
• 2017–2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models will typically see front lift of ~0–1.25" and rear lift of ~1.375–2.125", depending on rear spring configuration and rear weight.
• Trimming of fenders may be required for recommended tire sizes.
• Bump stop spacer kit 51045 can be installed to increase preload by 0.25" beyond the maximum.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models with 5-lug wheel studs.
