ICON Vehicle Dynamics

Stage 7 suspension system for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma engineered to increase wheel travel, improve damping, and deliver superior on- and off-road control. The system includes vehicle-specific extended-travel 2.5" coilover shocks with remote reservoirs and ICON CDXS adjustable high- and low-speed compression, ICON-engineered coil springs, tubular upper control arms, a rear Add-A-Leaf pack, and 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks with multi-zone damping and adjustable compression/rebound.

  • Extended-travel 2.5" front coilovers with remote reservoirs for improved cooling and consistent performance under heavy use.
  • CDXS independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment with discrete detented settings for separate tuning of handling response and overall aggressiveness.
  • Height-adjustable coilovers: up to 3.5" front lift on 2005–2015 models and up to 2.75" front lift on 2016–2023 models.
  • ICON-engineered coil springs tuned for superior vehicle feel through the full travel range.
  • Tubular upper control arms to correct front-end geometry, add caster, and improve component clearance.
  • Delta Joint in the upper control arms: heavy-duty, greaseable high-angle joint with corrosion resistance and long life while maintaining articulation and noise-free operation.
  • Add-A-Leaf rear pack replaces the factory overload leaf to lower the rear spring rate by ~10% for a more compliant ride and provides approximately 1.5" of rear lift over stock.
  • 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks with multiple damping zones and adjustable compression/rebound (multiple settings) for ultimate rear ride control.
  • Durable construction: CNC-machined aluminum components, corrosion-resistant coatings, and heavy-duty hardware for long service life.

The Delta Joint combines the articulation benefits of a uniball with the environmental protection and durability of a sealed ball joint. Zinc-plated housing, a greaseable design, and a robust seal help keep contaminants out while allowing for high angularity and noise-free operation.

Notes

  • OEM wheels and tires fitment: yes.
  • Recommended maximum tire: 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and/or modifications).
  • System to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
  • 700 lb/in expedition coil option available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
  • Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
  • Bump stop spacer can be installed to increase preload by 0.25" beyond maximum.
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
  • Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models with 5-lug stud pattern.
  • 2017–2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models: front lift range 0–1.25" and rear lift ~1" over stock.
  • System provides approximately 1.5" of rear lift over stock.
