ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 7 Suspension System — Toyota Tacoma (2005–2023)

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 7 suspension system is engineered to maximize wheel travel, improve damping control, and deliver superior vehicle control and ride quality on and off road. This vehicle-specific system combines extended-travel coilovers, upgraded control arms, tunable rear shocks, and a rear add-a-leaf to enhance capability and comfort for the Toyota Tacoma.

  • Vehicle-specific 2.5" extended-travel front coilovers with remote reservoirs for improved shock cooling and consistent performance under heavy use.
  • Externally adjustable compression damping valves (CDCV) providing 10 settings of compression adjustment from soft to firm.
  • Adjustable front ride height: 0–3.5" on 2005–2015 models and 0–2.75" on 2016–2023 models.
  • Tubular upper control arms designed to correct front-end geometry, add caster, and improve suspension component clearance.
  • Delta Joint upper control arm bearing — a heavy-duty, high-angle joint with corrosion-resistant housing and a greaseable seal for increased durability and noise-free operation while offering greater angularity than a traditional ball joint.
  • 2.5" aluminum-series bypass rear shocks with multiple damping zones and extensive compression and rebound adjustability for refined rear ride control.
  • Add-a-leaf rear kit replaces the factory overload leaf to lower the rear spring rate by approximately 10% and provides about 1.5" of rear lift for a more compliant ride.
  • Durable construction including 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components and corrosion-resistant plated shock bodies with large-diameter shafts.
  • Serviceable shock design for maintenance and rebuild capability.

Notes

  • Fits Toyota Tacoma model years 2005–2023.
  • OEM wheels and tires will fit. Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes: 17x8.5 (4.75" backspace / 0mm offset), 18x9 (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset), 20x9 (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset).
  • Recommended tire size: up to 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and/or additional modifications).
  • System is intended for use with aftermarket upper control arms only.
  • A higher-rate 700 lb/in expedition coil is available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
  • Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover height ranges are based on a stock-equipped vehicle.
  • Fender trimming is required for the recommended tire size on some configurations.
  • A bump stop spacer can be installed to increase preload by approximately 0.25" beyond the maximum setting.
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
  • Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models that use five-lug wheel studs.
  • 2017–2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models have a reduced front lift range of approximately 0–1.25" and a rear lift of about 1" over stock.
