ICON Vehicle Dynamics

The Stage 7 suspension system for the Toyota Tacoma (2005–2023) is engineered to maximize wheel travel, damping control and ride quality for both on- and off-road driving. The kit features vehicle-specific tuned 2.5" extended-travel coilovers with remote reservoirs and externally adjustable CDC valves, billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON’s Delta Joint, a rear Add-A-Leaf replacement for improved rear compliance and lift, and 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks with extensive adjustability.

  • Vehicle-specific 2.5" extended-travel coilovers with remote reservoirs for improved cooling and consistent performance under hard use.
  • Externally adjustable CDC valves provide 10 levels of compression damping adjustment.
  • Height adjustable coilovers offering 0–3.5" of front lift on 2005–2015 models and 0–2.75" on 2016–2023 models.
  • ICON-engineered coil springs tuned for superior vehicle feel through the travel range.
  • Billet aluminum upper control arms (UCAs) for corrected front-end geometry, added strength and on-vehicle camber/caster adjustment.
  • Patented Delta Joint — a heavy-duty, high-angle, greaseable joint combining the durability of a ball joint with the angularity of a uniball while resisting contamination and corrosion.
  • Add-A-Leaf rear kit replaces the factory overload leaves to lower the rear spring rate by approximately 10% for a more compliant ride and provides approximately 1.5" of rear lift over stock.
  • 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks with multiple damping zones and up to 28 settings of compression and rebound adjustment for fine-tuned rear ride control.
  • High-quality construction: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, corrosion-resistant plated coilover bodies with 7/8" shafts, and FK rod-end bearings for durability and minimal deflection.
  • Extended travel design for maximum wheel articulation and improved vehicle control off-road.

Notes:

  • OEM wheels and tires will fit.
  • Up to 33" x 11.50" tires may fit but will likely require minor fender trimming and other modifications.
  • These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
  • A 700 lb/in expedition coil is available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
  • Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
  • Standard lift ranges: front 0–3.5" (2005–2015) and front 0–2.75" (2016–2023); standard rear lift ~1.5". For 2017–2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models, front lift range is 0–1.25" and rear lift is ~1.0".
  • Trimming is required for the recommended larger tire sizes.
  • Bump stop spacer kit 51045 can be installed to increase preload by 0.25" beyond maximum.
  • Installation requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
  • Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models equipped with 5-lug wheel studs.
