ICON Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tacoma Stage 5 Suspension System

The ICON Stage 5 suspension system for the Toyota Tacoma is engineered to deliver increased wheel travel, improved damping, and superior ride quality on- and off-road. The kit includes vehicle-specific 2.5" extended-travel coilovers with remote reservoirs, tubular upper control arms with ICON’s patented Delta Joint, an Add-A-Leaf rear kit, and vehicle-specific rear remote-reservoir shocks. Coilovers are height adjustable to accommodate larger wheel and tire combinations and to tune ride and performance for a variety of driving conditions.

What’s included

• Vehicle-specific 2.5" extended-travel coilovers with remote reservoirs for improved cooling and consistent performance under heavy use.
• Height adjustable coilovers — up to 3.5" front lift on 2005–2015 models and up to 2.75" front lift on 2016–2023 models.
• Tubular upper control arms (UCAs) with corrected front-end geometry and added caster for better drivability and component clearance.
• Patented Delta Joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) — a heavy-duty, high-angle serviceable joint combining ball-joint durability with uniball articulation.
• Add-A-Leaf rear kit replaces factory overload leaves to lower rear spring rate by ~10% and provides approximately 1.5" of rear lift.
• 2.5 Aluminum Series remote-reservoir rear shocks with vehicle-specific valving and 7/8" shafts to balance front and rear performance.
• Precision-machined components — 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC parts, corrosion-resistant plating, and FK rod-end bearings for longevity and minimal deflection.

Delta Joint details

The Delta Joint is a serviceable high-angle ball joint featuring a zinc-plated housing for corrosion resistance, a durable grease seal to keep contaminants out, and a greaseable, metal-on-metal design for long life and quiet operation. It provides greater angularity than a typical ball joint while remaining more robust than a standard uniball.

• OEM wheel and tire fitment: Yes.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes and offsets: 17x8.5 (4.75" backspace / 0mm offset), 18x9 (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset), 20x9 (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset).
• Recommended tire size: up to 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and modifications).
• This system is to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
• 700 lb/in expedition coil option available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• 2016–2023 Tacoma front lift range: 0–2.75".
• 2017–2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models: front lift range 0–1.25" and rear lift 1.0" over stock.
• Trimming required for the recommended tire size in some applications.
• Bump Stop Spacer Kit 51045 can be installed to increase preload by 0.25" beyond maximum.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma applications with 5-wheel lug studs.
