ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 Suspension System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 Suspension System is a complete suspension upgrade for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco models. It features precision-manufactured, custom-valved remote-reservoir coilover shocks with Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology to maximize travel while delivering superior on- and off-road ride quality. The system provides adjustable ride height, extensive front and rear travel, and electronic, on-the-fly damping control via ICON Intelligent Control (IIC).

• Adjustable lift: Coilovers allow approximately 3–4" front and 2–3" rear lift over stock 4-door Broncos without the Sasquatch package.
• Long travel shocks: Designed to provide up to 11.5" front and 14" rear wheel travel when used with 35x12.50 tires.
• Remote reservoirs: Increased oil volume and heat dissipation to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, maintaining sustained damping performance.
• Electronic tuning: ICON Intelligent Control uses onboard sensors to make near-instant compression damping adjustments via the CDEV at each shock; system is configurable via a smartphone app.
• Triple-rate rear coils: Unique triple-rate rear springs and shaft-up rear coilover orientation optimize rear travel and ride quality.
• Billet aluminum control components: Billet upper control arms provide on-vehicle caster and camber adjustability and include the patented Delta Joint Pro for up to 90° of articulation.
• Adjustable billet rear links: Designed to free up suspension bind, allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment, improve fuel tank clearance and feature greaseless bushings with heavy-duty rod ends.
• Adjustable track bar: Dual-durometer greaseless bushing and rod end with on-vehicle adjustability to align the rear axle for any lift height.
• Durable construction: 6061 aircraft-grade CNC machined aluminum components, PTFE-lined spherical bearings, corrosion-resistant plated shock bodies, and 7/8" diameter shock shafts.
• Serviceable shocks: Front and rear shocks are fully serviceable for long-term maintenance.

Notes

• OEM wheels and tires are not compatible with the full travel and recommended wheel/tire sizes for this system.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes: 17x8.5", 18x9", or 20x9" with ~0 mm offset (backspace around 4.75"–5").
• Recommended tire size: 35 x 12.50".
• When running 35" tires, high clearance crash bars (part number 42000) are recommended for non-Sasquatch equipped vehicles.
• When running 37" tires, up-travel limiters are required: use the specified front and rear up-travel limiter kits (front and rear part numbers supplied by ICON). Crash bar removal may be required for 37" tires but is not recommended.
• Fitment testing was performed with ICON and OE steering components; due to tight clearances to front coilovers, some aftermarket steering components may not be compatible.
• Rear reservoir brackets may interfere with some aftermarket step or rock slider mounts; modifications may be required.
• Triple-rate rear coils are optimized for a near-stock weight Bronco; the softer initial rates will yield lower-than-advertised ride heights as additional rear weight is added.
• Lift heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; 2-door models will sit taller than 4-door models.
• Will not fit the Bronco Raptor.
• An iOS-operated device is required to run the ICON Intelligent Control app.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
