ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for its specific application in both length and damping tune, and features a nitrogen-charged monotube design with a piggyback or remote reservoir for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during prolonged use.
- Internal “Bump Zone” created with a 6061 billet aluminum manifold increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote reservoir design for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade.
- Premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- One-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on and off road.
- 7/8” induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for durability.
- PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware for reliable articulation and fitment.
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC machined components and one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable for long-term serviceability.
- Upgradeable to ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) on piggyback and remote reservoir models for more user-defined tuning.
