ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks
ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific vehicle application in both length and damping tune. These shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, and feature a unique internal Bump Zone that increases damping to control high-velocity compression and reduce harsh bottoming.
- Internal Bump Zone: Increases damping by 20% to provide greater control as the shock approaches full compression.
- Remote reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Premium oil: Grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube: Monotube design with piggyback reservoir for reliable performance.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on and off road.
- Durable shaft: 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- Quality mounting: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- Premium materials: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components and one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Serviceable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
- Upgradeable: Piggyback and remote reservoir shocks can be upgraded to the Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) for more user-defined tuning.
