ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific vehicle application in both length and damping tune. These shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, and feature an internal Bump Zone in select piggyback and remote reservoir designs that adds damping to help prevent harsh bottom-outs.
- Internal Bump Zone: Increases damping by 20% to provide improved control as the shock approaches full compression.
- Remote reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Premium shock oil: Grade 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube: Reliable performance with a piggyback reservoir option.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on- and off-road.
- Hardened shock shaft: 7/8" diameter induction hardened, chrome-plated shaft for durability.
- High-quality mounts: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- CNC-machined components: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum parts for strength and precision.
- Corrosion-resistant cylinders: One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for consistent finish and durability.
- Serviceable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable for long-term serviceability.
