Flowmaster Universal Resonator

The Flowmaster universal resonator is designed to reduce interior drone and control sound in difficult-to-quiet exhaust applications. It features a 3.00-inch offset inlet and 3.00-inch offset outlet.

  • Outlet: 3.00-inch offset
  • Construction: Fully welded 16-gauge aluminized steel
  • Internal design: Helmholtz chambers
  • Packing material: None
  • Sound control: Reduces interior resonance

The internal Helmholtz chambers are specifically tuned for Gen III and Gen IV LS applications. Because the resonator contains no packing materials, its sound characteristics remain consistent from initial startup throughout its service life.

*Can be installed before or after the muffler in new or existing exhaust systems and may be used with mufflers from other manufacturers. Installation in the tailpipes behind the mufflers has proven effective for dual muscle car applications and may also be used in smaller-displacement truck and SUV applications.
