2015-2024 Toyota 4Runner 4WD (without KDSS)
This suspension system upgrades the Toyota 4Runner with independent front suspension (IFS) technology and extended-length ductile iron steering knuckles to preserve electronic stability control functionality. Heavy-duty steel crossmembers and an integrated front differential skid plate improve ground clearance and drivetrain protection for off-road use. Front and rear lift are achieved while retaining factory coilover shocks and coil springs for a controlled, stock-like ride.
- Lower control arm crossmembers: 1/4" thick steel, arched for maximum ground clearance with a fully welded box design for added strength and multiple alignment cam provisions for a wide range of adjustment.
- Steering knuckles: Extended-length ductile iron knuckles retain near-stock track width to keep tires under the fenders and are designed to maintain proper electronic stability control operation.
- Front differential skid plate: Heavy-duty 1/4" thick steel plate shields the front differential from off-road obstacles.
- Differential mounts: Integrated mounts re-position the front differential for correct CV and driveshaft angles throughout steering and suspension travel.
- Front coilover spacers: 6" lift spacers built from thick-wall tubing and 1/4" steel plate that retain the factory coilover shocks for a stock-like ride.
- Bump stop brackets: Stout 1/4" steel front brackets with urethane bump pads and relocated rear bump stops using thick-wall tubular brackets to control suspension travel at the new ride height.
- Brake line brackets: Repositions factory front and rear brake lines on the frame to accommodate increased travel without opening the brake system, keeping the factory fluid system intact.
- Tie rod ends: Heavy-duty tie rod ends replace factory units to provide additional steering strength for use with oversized tires.
- Front sway bar brackets & links: 1/4" steel drop brackets lower the front sway bar for increased ride height; heavy-duty billet links with heim ends allow full sway bar cycle without binding.
- Rear coil spring spacers: Tubular thick-wall spacers retain factory coil springs for a smooth ride and include an integrated side support to manage coil side load.
- Control link arms: Heavy-duty tubular control arms replace factory units to center the tire in the fender well and maintain proper pinion angle at the new ride height.
- Track bar bracket: 1/4" steel bracket relocates the rear track bar downward with an integrated side support gusset to prevent side-load deflection.
- Rear sway bar links: Extended-length links with urethane bushings keep the rear sway bar at the correct angle for the new ride height.
- Rear performance shocks: Extended-length twin-tube shocks tuned to provide a comfortable highway ride while handling off-road conditions.
*Installation and compatibility notes: This kit is for 4WD Toyota 4Runner models without KDSS. It does not fit models with factory electronic-controlled shocks and will not fit TRD Pro models. Verify vehicle compatibility before installation.
