Fabtech’s IFS suspension system for the GM 3500HD is engineered for excellent on- and off-road driveability. The design eliminates bump steer throughout the suspension cycle, preserves a near-stock track width for a clean appearance, and uses proprietary steering knuckle geometry to retain a tight lock-to-lock turning radius for maneuverability in tight spots.
Crossmembers: 1/4" thick steel lower control arm crossmembers are arched for maximum ground clearance and retain factory alignment cams for easy adjustment.
Steering Knuckles: Extended-length ductile iron knuckles deliver zero bump steer through full suspension travel while maintaining near-stock track width.
Tie Rods: Oversized tie rods replace stock units to handle larger tires and increased loads.
Skid Plate: Heavy-duty front differential skid plate constructed from 1/4" steel protects the differential from off-road obstacles.
Differential Mounts: Heavy-duty mounts reposition the front differential to achieve precise CV and driveshaft angles, minimizing driveline vibration at high speed.
Sway Bar Mounts: Reinforced mounts reposition the front sway bar for proper on-road function while preventing bind off-road.
Rear Lift Blocks & U-Bolts: New rear lift blocks level the truck front to rear without changing ride quality or load capacity. High-quality U-bolts secure the rear differential to the vehicle.
Stealth Shocks: Extended-length monotube shocks feature a Nitrocarb piston rod for corrosion resistance and rock-chip protection, delivering composed highway performance and capable off-road damping.
