Fabtech’s independent front suspension (IFS) system for the 2020–24 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD and GMC Sierra 3500HD 4WD improves on-road comfort and off-road capability while maintaining a near-stock appearance. The design eliminates bump steer through the suspension travel, preserves a near-factory track width for clean tire fitment, and uses robust steel components and revised differential positioning for vibration-free high-speed operation.

The system is engineered to retain factory alignment adjustment points and to provide full wheel travel and lock-to-lock steering without over-cycling. The overall geometry improves turning radius and maneuverability while protecting critical components for offroad use.

• Crossmembers: 1/4" thick steel lower control arm crossmembers are arched for maximum ground clearance and feature a welded box design for added strength while retaining factory alignment cams for easy adjustment.
• Steering Knuckles: Extended-length ductile iron knuckles deliver zero bump steer through travel and help maintain near-stock track width for proper tire clearance.
• Tie Rods: Oversized tie rods replace stock units to withstand the loads associated with larger tires.
• Skid Plate: Heavy-duty 1/4" steel front differential skid plate protects the differential from offroad obstacles.
• Differential Mounts: Reinforced mounts reposition the front differential to achieve precise CV and driveshaft angles and minimize vibration at high speeds.
• Sway Bar Mounts: Heavy-duty mounts reposition the front sway bar to preserve on-road handling while preventing binding during offroad articulation.
• Rear Lift Blocks: New rear blocks provide additional lift and help level the truck front-to-rear without degrading ride quality or load capacity.
