Designed for Trail Boss and AT4 owners who want added ride height and clearance for full-size 33 x 12.50R 18" or 20" tires, this Fabtech lift kit raises the front of the truck by 1.5" without causing suspension bind at full droop. On vehicles with the factory 2" lift, the additional 1.5" places the truck at a stance comparable to a 3.5" lift and allows clearance for 33" tall tires.
Lift is achieved using an aluminum spacer at the top and a small preload spacer under the coil of the factory coilover shock to properly position the coilover and prevent coil bind or over-extension. The kit includes tubular upper control arms with heavy-duty ball joints to correct front suspension geometry and maintain proper alignment with the new ride height. Because of GM's updated 2019 suspension geometry, no differential drop brackets are required for CV axle operation. Rear lift is provided by 1" blocks and U-bolts, though some owners may elect to omit the rear blocks to achieve a level stance. The included Stealth rear shocks are a monotube design with a Nitrocarb piston rod for corrosion resistance and rock-chip protection, delivering a comfortable highway ride and capable offroad damping.
*Does not fit standard cab models; will not fit models equipped with adaptive ride control; does not fit models with composite rear leaf springs; will not fit vehicles equipped with Super Cruise. Cannot be used with OEM wheels and tires. Some owners may choose not to install the rear blocks to level the vehicle's stance.
