ARB Recovery Point
Reliable recovery points are essential for off-road driving. ARB developed its engineered Recovery Train to establish a clear benchmark for how recovery points are designed, tested and selected by four-wheel drivers. Each vehicle-specific recovery point is rated for use with a 4.75t rated bow shackle and a 17,600lb snatch strap.
This approach addresses concerns such as untested mounting locations, uncertainty when selecting rated shackles and straps, and the stresses that generic tow points may experience during angled vehicle recovery. The vehicle-specific design helps provide the correct recovery point for each application while avoiding additional stress on the vehicle during recovery.
