ARB Recovery Points

Strong, dependable recovery points are essential for off-road driving. However, the absence of industry standards for rated tow points has created uncertainty for four-wheel drivers when selecting suitable recovery equipment.

ARB has developed its recovery point range to establish a benchmark for the design, testing and selection of recovery points. The range addresses common concerns associated with generic tow points, including questionable or untested mounting locations, uncertainty when choosing rated shackles and straps, and the inability of some generic points to safely manage the forces created by angled vehicle recovery pulls.

ARB’s engineered “Recovery Train” is designed to simplify the selection process by providing a vehicle-specific recovery point rated for use with a 4.75T rated bow shackle and a 17,600 lb snatch strap.
